"I attended the clinic in December 2012 for a rather complex procedure (putting an inlay back in place on a molar). I had had so many problems in the past with this inlay falling off. Dr Vasilis put it back in place and also treated a cavity on the tooth next to it. I am extremely satisfied with the work of Dr Vasilis and the clinic in general. The clinic is a very pleasant place, all the personnel are very nice and accommodating, and Dr Vasilis is an outstanding surgeon. “I had a reexamination of very old root canal and capped tooth that had become irritated causing inflamed gums and pain in the lower jaw.

The diagnostic approach to the problem was excellent, as the consulting Doctor spent time to evaluate carefully the most efficient and effective processes in seeking the origin of the problem, using the elimination process to get the best results. The option of tooth extraction was left as the last choice. Thankfully the tooth is still in place and problem solved for now, in a cost effective and painless manner.

" I am actually terrified of dentists, due to a very traumatic experience as a kid, so I do not go often or systematically at all. I had to choose one to see what the swelling was about, so I went on the internet to look. I was worry about going to the dentist, but Smalto Dental Clinic had good reviews from nervous patients like myself, so I chose to go there- plus, I had a good experience abroad with a US-educated dentist so I chose to try Dr. Andrea Kapsou. Turns out that an old filling now needed a root canal. The doctor let me have my headphones on so that I block the sound of the drill (really frightens me) and she told me I was in control, at any point I could tell her to stop, and if I wished so, they could give me anxiety medication before going in. it did not hurt at all, she took care of me and prepared a treatment plan to restore the hygiene of my teeth. I am glad I found a dentist I can feel comfortable with. I chose the clinic because of another review I found of it, online, and I was not let down when I actually got there. The staff and doctors are very pleasant, it does not have that 'dentist' smell when you go in and it actually has a good vibe about it. The space arrangement is different than other clinics I've been too, and I did not wait long at all before going in, which all made it less "dentist-like" and more comfortable. The machines are state-of-the-art, and the staff are young so you feel more at ease. Ms Andrea Kapsou, which was the doctor that took care of my treatment plan, is experienced, sweet and reassuring- I did not feel like she was passing judgement at any point, which is something that puts me off big time ."
